Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Although I love winter with cold weather, hot chocolate and cinnamon in everything, I cant say that I'm enjoying it that much in March. But still, I got my camera out, went for a walk and even built a snow igloo (snowmen are far too mainstream haha)

Hey Sweet Thing

Whilst sorting through my camera I found these pictures I'd taken whist bored at work a few moths back. I now have a huge craving for sweets, oh no!

My Top 5 Lipsticks

If i was in a fire and could only save one thing it would have to be my lipstick tin. I'm not sure what it is about lipstick but I just love it. Looking at them, buying them, wearing them. So it was quite hard to decide which 5 were my favourite, but here they are...

Topshop Saint

This lipstick is quite a pinky nude, comparable to Mac's Creme Cup. But I prefer the finish of this. It's described as a 'velvet' finish, which I would agree with. It's very creamy and not drying, however its still very pigmented. At £8 this was a complete bargain. Although I think this may have been recently discontinued, hopefully because they're re-branding it into another collection. Sad times :(

Topshop Innocent

Another Topshop lipstick, spot a trend? This is quite a purple under toned pink, very similar to Mac's Angel. The finish of this is the same as Saint, meaning that a lip balm doesn't need to be worn underneath and that they last for aaages. This shade has also been taken off the Topshop website, which makes me very sad.

Mac Sunny Seoul

This is a bright coral, with gold shimmer running throughout. Seeing as this lipstick is a cremesheen formula it's very pigmented, but moisturising and stays put for about 3 hours before fading. I also like that after this lipstick has faded it leaves a stain on your lips meaning that it doesn't really need re-applying throughout the day. £14 is quite pricey, but for the quality i would say that it is completely worth it!

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Sourire

This is a very sheer lipstick, almost like a lip balm with gold shimmer. I guess that i could just wear a Carmex, but the packaging is beautiful. This was quite an impulse buy from France. I had money, found a lovely Sephora and ended up going wild. This was 30 Euros which I have to admit is a ridiculous price. But the packaging and the luxuriousness make up for this.

YSL Volumpte Sheer Candy No.4

This has to be my favourite lipstick ever. The finish, the colour, the packaging...it's beautiful. This gives a lovely rosy colour to the lips and tastes delicious! I got this on the same trip to France (oops!) from duty free. It was 23 Euros which is brilliant for the quality.

Dungarees and Dollymix

I've been wanting to start a blog for quite some time. So here goes...

I'm 15 and I live in Shropshire. I have quite a fondness for anything creative and have to admit that i spend most of my time with a paintbrush in my hand. I also have a rather unhealthy obsession for makeup.

Being the crazy beauty addict that I am, I always find myself finding swatches and reviews of products on blogs really helpful. This being the reason that I decided to start this.

I'm one of those people who loves looking back at old photos and reliving old memories, so I hope that one day i can look back on here and have a good giggle at the cringey photos and my strange tangents.

Seeing as I'm not at school today due to the crazy weather (yay!) I've spent my day battling with layouts and headers. Who knew it was all so difficult, eh?
.
Just looked out the window and saw these crazy things
